Frequently Asked Questions
-
I create bespoke, hand-painted artworks of residential properties and landscapes on commission for clients using reference photographs. Each piece is designed to serve as a personal lasting keepsake reminding you of a special place or moment.

Each commission begins with an initial conversation to understand the idea in mind, the context of the piece, and the client’s unique requirements. From there, I handle the process end-to-end — from working with reference imagery provided, through to creating and delivering the finished painting to you.
-
In my artworks, I aim to balance observation and atmosphere. Whilst I work from reference images to build an accurate sense of the structure of a property or landscape, I’m equally interested in interpreting the quieter meaning — the character and meaning. The artworks which I produce are considered and personal, and don’t just reflect what a place looks like, but also what it feels like to the people who are connected to it.

The cost of a painting depends on the intended size. Please see the commissions page for further details.
-
The artworks can be supplied either unframed or professionally mounted and framed upon request.
-
Each commission is created by hand and typically takes around 7–14 days from the point of confirmed reference imagery. Timings can vary slightly depending on detail, size, and current schedule, but I always aim to work efficiently while allowing enough time for the piece to develop naturally. If a painting is required for a specific date, this can usually be accommodated, although this to be agreed upon at the outset.
